MEET THE TEAM

So.. Who are we?!
We are Ben and Zara McLoughlin, along with our son Franklin.
We moved to Lincolnshire 5 years ago from Cornwall, to run a village pub.
Zara was born and bred in Lincolnshire, and has worked Front of House for many years, including a stint as a Chef and running her own kitchen.
Ben, although a born Northerner, is Cornish at heart, having spent 15 years working in kitchens in St Ives, and as a Head Chef in several Lincolnshire establishments.
We fell in love with The George from the first time we walked in the doors in July 2020, and couldn't wait to get started.

We moved in, in the first week of August, and Opened the Doors around the Bank Holiday Weekend.
We do have a dining menu ready to rock, which you can view on our menu page!
Obviously, the last 12 months have been a very different year for everyone, particularly those in the Hospitality industry, and we are keenly aware that Coronavirus still plays an important role in all of our day to day lives.
As such, we will make sure The George is primed and ready for any and all Social Distancing and Hygiene Measures, along with maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our customers.
